Nick and Trudy Route took over the Bedford franchise in July 2004. Nick had worked for the Bedford area as Building Manager for about a year and saw the potential in the concept and decided to buy the area.
Nick’s background is that he has been in the building trade for many years and Trudy has been a Manager, credit controller and in sales for some 9 years.
Bedford currently employ a Project Manager who is on site ever day liaising with customers and the local authority. Nick and Trudy’s sons also work in the business. Michael is the carpenter, Gary the plasterer and Andrew the plumber.
